Welcome to the Merry month of May.
The place to begin this note is with the forthcoming album ‘Welcome to Anniversaryville’ and its progress. It’s going well and on May 10th we’ll be launching a Kickstarter campaign to complete the project. This will allow us to refinethe record and maintain the high standard I feel we have achieved so far.
There are a couple of video links which are available
My Edinburgh Folk Club appearance was streamed live from the Pleasance Bar and is available to view at this link;-
I have also opened a dedicate YouTube channel. It’s called Rab Noakes 2018.

In early June I’ll be out-and-about with an update of the show Allan Taylor and I do together.
We’ll be at The Ceilidh Place, Ullapool on Friday 1st June, Portsoy Festival on Saturday 2nd June and The Fraser Centre, Milngavie on Sunday 2nd June.
Later in the year I’ll be out-and-about with Jill Jackson. We’ll start with a show at the Edinburgh Fringe and then there’ll be a bit of touring in the Autumn. Who knows, we may be somewhere near you. There’ll be more details here soon
So, it’s a year of collaborations. I’m looking forward to that.
I’ll be taking the opportunity to write to you again prior to May 25th with further notice of the Kickstarteer campaign.
Like many others I am working on the implications of GDPR and what has to, and what will, be done.
