Hiya all
Much of the past few weeks’ work-time has so far been devoted to the new album ‘Welcome to Anniversaryville’. It’s going well and we’ll soon be launching a Kickstarter campaign to complete the project.
I’m here now to mention a couple of forthcoming shows.
On Wednesday 28th March, I’ll be at Edinburgh Folk Club. It’s a regular visit for me and is always an enjoyable show. I’m pleased to say it’s returned to The Pleasance Bar, which has been refurbished. Here’s a link. https://www.efc1973.com/
On Wednesday 11th April, I’ll be conducting a talk with ‘The King of Collage’, sculptor David Mach, in Glasgow as he opens a new exhibition at Cass Art in Queen Street.

On Saturday 28th April, I’ll be at Porters in Tynemouth with Rod Clements. This is the initial outing for a collaboration with Rod we’re calling ‘Alive’n’Pickin’. There’ll be more from the two of us in the Autumn.
I’ll be a part of a Mayday Concert at Oran Mor Glasgow on Monday 7th May. This’ll take the form of a Tribute to Chris Bartter, trade unionist, journalist and music-lover who sadly died in October 2017. Chris was a person for whom culture mattered.
In early June I’ll be out-and-about with an update of the show Allan Taylor and I do together.
We’ll be at The Ceilidh Place, Ullapool on Friday 1st June, Portsoy Festival on Saturday 2nd June and The Fraser Centre, Milngavie on Sunday 2nd June.
