News February 21st 2016

Hello everyone

I’ll open this brief note with a stop-press update on a forthcoming date.

I’m delighted to say my show at Porters in Tynemouth on Saturday March 5th has sold out. Ray Laidlaw has kindly suggested another night so there’ll be a second show on Sunday March 6th.

I’ve made a few radio appearances recently. They’re all BBC and available on iPlayer.

The first one was on Richard Madeley show on Sunday 17th Jan

While at Western House that day I was invited to record a wee interview with Johnnie Walker for the ‘My ’70s’ slot in his Sounds of the Seventies show. It was broadcast on Sunday 7th Feb – for a speech clip only – for the full show.

On Wednesday February 10th I appeared on Radio Scotland’s Kaye Adams show talking about dealing with cancer treatment. The clip is here
